SOPA invites you to join the 8th International Soy Conclave, the exclusive and unique annual event of the Soy Value Chain, oilseeds and edible oils to be held on 8th and 9th October, 2025 at the Brilliant Convention Centre, Indore.

The soybean and edible oil industry in India has been going through extremely uncertain times, because of global factors, particularly the continuing Ukraine war, the conflict in Middle East, threats to shipping, etc. On the policy front also, there has almost been a standstill as far as customs duty on edible oil is concerned because of government’s priority to keep inflation in check in an election year. We expect several important policy changes after the new government is formed and this sector will find an environment which promotes overall growth and a significant step towards self-sufficiency in edible oils. The Soy Conclave is the most appropriate platform to discuss and debate the new policies and chalk out a road map for the future.

We are changing the format of the program and this year we will have more interactive sessions and panel discussions, involving the top brass of the industry, senior policy makers, market analysts and technical experts. You will also see The Price Outlook Session and The Crop Estimate presentation by SOPA in a new “AVATAAR”.

Two burning issues in which everyone in the industry is interested are Futures Trading and The debate on GM vs. Non-GM and the conclave will have special sessions on these.

The concurrent exhibition has become an important part of the conclave for display of products and services and for directly reaching out to the entire soybean and edible oil trade and industry on a one-to-one basis.

The Soy Conclave 2024 attracted more than 1000 delegates from India and abroad, over 30 imminent speakers, 57 exhibitors and more than 20 sponsors. We expect more participation this year and more exhibitors also.
